26931 Paradies is a village in the district of Wesermarsch in Lower Saxony.
A group of students from the Master Studio Culture and Identity set off for Paradies in April 2021 to find out whether the name alone is worth a trip. How do they expect, see and interpret this place?

Using text, photography, illustration, graphics and sound, the space between the realities of the place, their own experiences and ideal ideas of paradise becomes a temptation.

The artistic and creative perspectives, which alternate between this world and the next, concrete and abstract, visible and invisible, will appear as a publication and as an exhibition in the Galerie Mitte space.
